Ulrike Schwarz-Runer

Ulrike has been Managing Director, Senior Partner and Global General Counsel of Boston Consulting Group since 2016 and is based in London.

She comes from a private banking, transaction structuring and consulting background and has had a distinguished career advising some of the wealthiest families in Europe over the last 25 years.

Ulrike holds several non-executive roles, including member of the Foundation Board of IMD Business School. Ulrike was previously General Counsel at Grosvenor Group and a Middle Eastern Sovereign Wealth Fund; executive director at Goldman Sachs, advising family owned businesses, and M&A lawyer at Freshfields and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.

She is a Doctor of Law from Universität Salzburg, Master in International Taxation from New York University School of Law and Master of Arts in Political Science, Journalism and Public Communication from Universität Salzburg.
